What we collect today

AskEgie has not launched yet. Right now the only information we collect is an email address, and only if you choose to join the waitlist. We use it for one purpose: to let you know when AskEgie is live. No accounts, posts, comments or personal content exist in this preview.

After launch: what will be public

Your @username, published Asks, comments and replies, response counts, and an optional profile photo if you choose to upload one. Otherwise, AskEgie shows a generated avatar.

What is private

Your email address and sign-in details, your saved Asks, your individual poll and survey answers, and any reports you send. We do not ask for your real name, phone number, address, employer, school, age or social accounts.

Who can see account information

Other members never can. Authorised moderators can access limited account information only where it is necessary for moderation, abuse prevention, security or enforcement.

Advertising

There is none, and there are no ad networks or trackers selling your activity.
